Come paint your own pottery during our drop in studio hours at our cozy McKinleyville studio. We also offer hand-building workshops, Paint & Pour events at local breweries and wineries, kids’ art camps, and a welcoming space for private parties and celebrations.

Paint for
Nonprofits
Every month we host one Paint for Nonprofits event during our normal pottery drop in hours. During that day half of all our proceeds go directly to local nonprofits doing great things in our community.

Kid Camps
The Makers' Space hosts fun spring and summer camps in partnership with our sister company Sea Goat Farmstand & Folk School. Past camps include muraling, basketry, botanical dying and pressing and farmstand camp!
How does The Makers' Space work?

Come on in and pick one of our many pieces of bisqued pottery, get a brief run down on painting rules and techniques then find a seat and start painting!

All our pieces are priced to include our basic glazes and the firing- No added firing fees. If you would like to use some of our specialty glazes they are $2-$5 depending on the size of the piece you are painting.

Once you've finished write your name on the bottom and make sure you sign our contact form.

Our turnaround time for firing is typically 1–2 weeks. We’ll give each piece the care and attention it needs in the kiln, and we’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready for pickup.
